School Counseling at Bonneville Online High School: Guiding Students Towards Success

At Bonneville Online High School, our school counseling program is here to guide students through their academic journey. 
Here’s what we offer:

• Academic Guidance: From scheduling and course selection to study strategies with our “MAP–make a plan guide,” we're here to help students excel academically and reach their full potential.
• Personal and Social Development: Our counselor offers support in developing coping strategies, problem-solving skills, promoting positive behavior, and helping students acquire the skills to build resilience as they overcome challenges.
• Connect: We work closely with parents and teachers to build a supportive network for each student and foster a safe and inclusive school environment.

The College and Career Advisor is here to help you find the job you will enjoy doing. For some, this may mean taking college courses while in high school. For others, it may mean strengthening attendance skills, advocating for yourself, and improving interactions with others.

Whichever path you choose, we have funding to pay for training. While in school, every student in Idaho has $4125, which the state provides to pay for college courses, AP exams, overload classes, and workforce training such as apprenticeships.

Idaho Launch, Idaho Opportunities Scholarship, and Governor’s Cup Scholarship can help pay for training after high school. The College and Career Advisor can help with the application process.
