CTE Pathways

What are CTE Pathways?
CTE areas of study include: Agriculture, Business, Economics and Entrepreneurship, Family and Consumer Sciences, Health Science, Information Technology, Marketing, Skilled and Technical Sciences, Technology and Engineering. CTE Pathways show students a direct connection between doing well in high school and being able to transition smoothly to post-secondary opportunities or getting a good job when they graduate. Students who focus on a Career Pathway acquire the skills necessary for entry into well-paid careers with high potential for rapid financial growth, increased levels of responsibility, and a high degree of personal satisfaction.
When Can I Start a CTE Pathway?
High School is the time to get serious about your CTE pathway. You can find what options are available at your school or district by checking with your School Counselor or by visiting https://cte.idaho.gov/
